CBS Radio Field trip - Media All-Stars (May 5th, 2009)

The Media All-Stars from Cashman Middle School were invited to go on a field trip to CBS Radio on May 5th. The students learned about a lot of neat things that are involved with the radio industry. They also got to participate in creating a radio advertisement using linear editing equipment and computer software. The students got to hear themselves in the radio advertisement after it was produced with music and sound effects. Barbara Johnson was the students' tour guide. The Media All-Stars got to talk to "Jeff G" and "JB" - each are DJs at KLUC 98.5 FM and MIX 94.1 FM. "Jeff G" and "JB" told the Media All-Stars to keep working hard and get a good education to stay on the right track to success.
